Is Workin free?
The Solo plan is free for one person, with no credit card. For a team, Starter and Pro can be tried free for 30 days, with no commitment.
Can I use Workin only for working time?
Yes. Projects are optional: your team can clock in without a project, and Workin manages schedules, absences and balances.
Can I use Workin only for my projects?
Yes. Organise your clients, projects and tasks, track their progress and the time spent on each, then export your hours and services to prepare your invoicing. You can use Workin without managing an hours target or an hours balance. It is especially suited to self-employed people, freelancers, managing directors and partners.
Can I track time per client and per project?
Yes, in all plans. You organise clients, projects, sub-projects and tasks as you need, and Workin consolidates time at each level.
Do I need to install software?
No. Workin runs in the browser, on computer and phone. It can be added to the home screen like an app.
Does Workin handle part-time work?
Yes. For each employee, you set the expected hours day by day. A schedule change takes effect on the chosen date, and the history is kept.
Can I recover my past hours?
Yes. Your past clockings can be imported using our Excel template. If you use ClickUp, the integration (Pro plan) also carries over your structure and time history.
What can I export?
Monthly and annual statements in PDF and Excel, and team hours over a period. For a client or a project, the Excel export brings together hours and services to prepare your invoicing.
Can I manage several companies?
Yes. One account gives access to several Workin companies, and you switch between them with one click. Each company's data stays separate.
What can the AI assistant do?
With the Pro plan, you connect Claude or ChatGPT to Workin. The assistant answers questions about hours and can create tasks or record time, within your rights and with an operations log.
What if my company works in a particular way?
Write to us. We will study possible adaptations, for example for daily work or internal rules.
Subscription
Can I change plan or cancel?
Yes, at any time from your account: move between Starter and Pro, add or remove seats, or cancel, with no commitment. A seat reduction below your active headcount is refused until you remove the extra members.
Are administrators billed?
Yes: every active member takes up a seat, whatever their role. The Solo plan remains free for one person.
What happens if I exceed the project limit?
Nothing is deleted. You cannot create new projects or clients while you are above your plan's limit; upgrade to a higher plan or permanently delete items.
